Peanuts was distributed in newspapers by the United Feature Syndicate, that published also, from 1952 to 1954, the first comic book version of the strip(1). The stories could be classified into three great categories: newspaper reprints, original comic book stories (essentially realized by Dale Hale), and comic book story reprints(2).
